FlowSight

A live view of the equipment, in Fiori. See it before anyone asks.

A live view of your automated warehouse in Fiori for SAP EWM/MFS: what is running, what is stuck, what the throughput is. On-premise, annual licence.

The problem

The shift leader learns about the jam from the operator.

What is actually happening on the equipment right now is spread across a handful of SAP GUI transactions, each showing one communication point, none of them updating on their own. Whoever wants the overall picture assembles it in their head.

So problems surface through people: someone calls, someone walks over, someone escalates. By then the jam has been standing for twenty minutes and the throughput of the shift is already lost.

FlowSight puts the whole layout on one screen, live, with thresholds and alerts. The shift leader sees the jam while it is forming, not once it has escalated.

How it helps

See, measure, get alerted.

01

Equipment map

The layout of the whole installation as an interactive graphic in the browser. Communication point status, handling unit positions, jam indicator. All live, all at a glance.

Layout imported from the /SCWM/* customising tables or refined in a visual editor. Drill down into any point, any route, any handling unit.

02

Live KPIs

Throughput per hour, shift or day. Error rate per route. Top-N stuck handling units. Analyses by period, warehouse or area.

All metrics freely configurable, export as CSV or PDF, scheduled delivery to stakeholders by email.

03

Smart alerts

Configure thresholds, define escalation rules. FlowSight then notifies automatically in Microsoft Teams, Slack or by email.

Before the operator calls, the shift leader already knows. Before the jam escalates, the recovery is under way.

Getting started

From transport to live view in three steps.

01

Import the transport

Runs in namespace /FROEH/FS, no modifications to the SAP standard. Guided IMG path. Effort: 30 minutes including a smoke test.

02

Import the layout

Derive the equipment layout automatically from EWM customising or maintain it in the visual editor. One iteration with your team, usually one to two hours.

03

Switch on the live view

Roll out Fiori tiles for the defined roles: shift leadership, operators, management. Configure alerts. From then on it runs in the background.

Questions

Before you ask: probably answered already.

What does FlowSight show that the SAP standard does not?
The standard shows individual communication points in separate SAP GUI transactions, without live updates and without aggregation. FlowSight shows the whole installation at a glance: in the browser, live, with threshold alerts and shift analyses.
How does my equipment layout get into FlowSight?
Two ways: automatically from the /SCWM/* customising tables (communication points, routes, paths) or maintained manually in a visual editor. Both work in combination: customising as the base, manual refinement on top.
Does it work on tablets or industrial terminals in the warehouse?
Yes, fully responsive from tablet size upwards. For operator devices a simplified view is typically configured, showing only the areas and KPIs relevant to that role.
What happens when EWM is under heavy load?
FlowSight reads from the MFS logs, not from the live telegram flow. There is no synchronous backend interference. Under extreme load the display lags by a few seconds. No risk to live control.
Pilot programme · Q4 2026

Looking for three pilot sites.

Joining early means permanently preferred pricing, direct influence on the equipment map and the alert rules, and personal support during onboarding. In return I ask for an honest account of your experience after three months of use.
